📆 Sunday, 29 Nov | 11:00am - 1:30pm
📍Artist’s Cup, Battersea
Early bird offer: book by November 8th to get £5 off!
Never held a pair of knitting needles? We’ll help you get started on your knitting journey!
We’ll be teaching total beginners everything you need to know to start knitting. You don’t need any experience to join and all materials will be provided for you.
By the end, you’ll be able to:
Cast on, knit, purl and cast off on your own
Hold your needles and yarn in whichever style feels natural to you
Take home a little piece of knitting you made from start to finish
Get going on your next project, with a few beginner-friendly pattern ideas we’ll send you home with
Your teacher - Sheetal Walke
Every Saturday you’ll find Sheetal at KNiTT in Teddington surrounded by yarn. She’s been teaching there for the past two years and her hand-knitted garments are often on display in the shop. She teaches both English and continental style, so you’ll get to try each one and see which suits you!
Your ticket includes:
A 2.5-hour small-group class with Sheetal (8 people max)
Your own starter kit to take home: a skein of Drops Nepal yarn (60% wool, 40% alpaca) and a pair of KnitPro 4.5mm circular needles with a 60cm cable
A hot drink of your choice
Beginner pattern ideas for what to knit next
Bring a mate or come solo. Everyone in the room is starting from scratch together, and you’re guaranteed to make a friend 💛
Please note we need a minimum number of bookings to hold the class. If we don’t meet the minimum 7 days before the workshop, we will cancel the class and offer you a new date or a refund.
